TOP 10

Here is a list of my 10 all time favourite Films and Television series...

01

Godfather 2 (1974)

The best sequel ever made and even surpasses the original. Al Pacino and Robert De Niro steal the show. Simply amazing... speechless.

02

Game of Thrones (2011-2019)

Thee greatest Television series that will ever be made is surely Game of Thrones. Storytelling at its finest, not to mention the exceptional cast. Dipped with the last series, although it will always be an all-time favourite.

03

Breaking Bad (2008-2013)

Vince Gilligan is a genius. Breaking Bad has the most complete narrative cycle within the television series and cannot have ended more perfectly. The question on my mind is who delivered a better acting performance... Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul?

04

The Prestige (2006)

There is something about this movie that is special. Christopher Nolan's greatest release with an amazing cast of Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. I love a good twist and I love this film!

05

Inglourious Basterds (2009)

It's hard to pick a favourite Tarantino film with the likes of Pulp Fiction, Once Upon a time in Hollywood, Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs to compete with. However, with my favourite actor Christoph Waltz featuring and an intelligent comical narrative, this film has to appear on the top 10.

06

Pre-destination (2015)

As one critic stated, "To try and wrap your head around the plot of Predestination can only lead to madness". They are correct. This film has the best twist in cinema history and is most certainly a must-watch!

07

Rear Window (1954)

A crippled James Stewart doesn't move from his wheelchair the entire movie, but he doesn't need to. Alfred Hitchcock is a genius and has stylised this movie in a way where it is simplistic, subtle and sharp.

08

Schindler's List (1993)

What film wins SEVEN Oscar's? Schindler's List sure does and in some style. This gritty true story starring Liam Neeson paves a heroic path for one man who will forever go down in history. One of Steven Speilberg's best.

09

Taxi Driver (1976)

It wouldn't be right if a Martin Scorsese film did not appear on this list. Robert De Niro as the lead who plays a mentally unstable veteran who seeks to right the wrongs of New York City. Heavily similar and most certainly inspired the 2019 Joker film.

10

Prison Break (2005-2017)

I speak for the first four series when I say Prison Break is a literal masterpiece. The storyline - amazing. The cinematography - amazing. But the cast... the casting director needs to be credited for this one.
